We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to join our team at Parkridge Medical Center. As a Cardiac Stepdown Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer prescribed medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- One year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac stepdown or intensive care unit.
