Maintenance Technician Job Description

This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, troubleshooting tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of vocational or technical training in industrial mechanics, pneumatics, or hydraulics
  • Industrial mechanical maintenance experience preferred
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good PC skills with a knowledge of MS Windows
Working Conditions:

This role will be based in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels. The successful candidate will be required to work with industrial chemicals and wear appropriate PPE. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
