Responsibilities:
Contribute to the overarching Enterprise Architecture strategic plan. Establish, develop, and advocate for standard architecture, frameworks, and guidelines.
Analyze intricate business and technical challenges associated with the adoption of new technologies and/or the customization of existing solutions.

Collaborate with other technology teams to engage with business executives and end users to conceptualize new application initiatives, recommend technologies and implementation strategies, and architect/design according to project requirements within budgetary and timeline constraints.

Draft and/or review architecture/design and other technical documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables and systems development across various technology stacks and application teams.

Evaluate code and technical methodologies for problem-solving to ensure that both functional and non-functional requirements are met effectively and with high quality.

Provide mentorship and guidance to technical teams across multiple architectural styles and technologies to ensure high-quality design/implementation, promote the reuse of enterprise/common patterns, and enhance code quality and testability/maintainability by enforcing standard design practices and minimizing redundancy.

Ensure high-quality software delivery by advising on testing strategies, offering technical consultation for performance testing and profiling of applications, and providing feedback/guidance for optimizing performance and other non-functional aspects.

Articulate and communicate complex technical and operational solutions, translating intricate topics into straightforward business language to drive value alignment.

Prepare technical solution and architecture documents, artifacts, work products, and presentations.
Enforce standards, frameworks, and architectural principles and governance to ensure the architecture evolves toward the desired state.

Create level 1 architecture diagrams to define vehicle-to-cloud, channel-to-cloud, and system architecture for connected vehicle programs.

Collaborate with cybersecurity and web security teams to ensure compliance with the technical solutions being implemented.

Act as an individual contributor and colleague who enjoys collaborating with, learning from, and mentoring program team members on security disciplines to enhance the overall security posture and reduce business risk.

Qualifications/ Essential Skills:


Act as a responsible resource and take ownership of assigned projects and tasks to deliver quality results in a timely manner using Agile/JIRA best practices.

Partner with application teams as a trusted advisor to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards, processes, and industry best practices for developing and deploying microservices in public cloud environments.

Guide technical leads in creating component and process flow diagrams and assist the application support team with performance, scalability, reliability, and capacity planning.
