About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at H&R Block's franchise location in Delaware. As a Tax Professional, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and ensuring accurate and timely tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather necessary information and provide expert tax advice.
  • Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Generate business growth by offering additional products and services to clients.
  • Provide IRS support and audit representation to clients.
  • Mentor and support teammates to ensure seamless delivery of tax services.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
  • Experience completing individual returns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
