Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing chemical processes and equipment to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Design and Optimization: Design and optimize chemical process flows and equipment layouts to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Operation: Maintain and operate chemical production equipment, including condensers, absorption and evaporation towers, columns, and stills.
  • Process Troubleshooting and Improvement: Troubleshoot and resolve process problems, and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong background in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, process safety, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
