PacifiCorp is seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Journeyman Linemen. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable transmission of electricity to our customers.

Responsibilities

As a Journeyman Lineman, you will be responsible for performing equipment operations duties, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage transmission lines. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our power systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a Journeyman Lineman certification or testing through IBEW Local 659. You will also need to have completion of a formal training program for a Journeyman Lineman and meet examining board review of skills and experience. Additionally, you must have formal hot stick training and experience, and be able to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Physical Demands

The job duties of a Lineman require lifting in excess of 75 lbs from floor to waist and waist to overhead, carrying in excess of 75 lbs with both hands, and pushing and pulling in excess of 100 lbs of exertional force. You will also need to be able to sustain awkward positions/postures, including bending and twisting at the waist and neck, and have forceful grip and pinch abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
