Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our team in the Emergency Department. As an APC, you will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our emergency medicine services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of emergency patients
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient management plans
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and compile patient medical data
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as CT scans, x-rays, and laboratory tests
- Prescribe and dispense medications, as well as manage patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nursing practitioner program
- Current licensure with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice or Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certification
- For practicing APCs: Fellowship trained and/or 2+ years of experience working as an APC in a tertiary, high-volume hospital emergency department

LocationThis position will be based in Willmar, Minnesota, a vibrant community surrounded by beautiful lakes and rolling hills. Our team serves patients at CentraCare - Rice Memorial Hospital, a 100-bed regional facility, and other locations throughout Central Minnesota.
