Job Overview

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in West Palm Beach, Florida to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and social development by providing comprehensive speech and language services.

About the Role

The SLP will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to identify speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and evaluations, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.

Salary and Benefits

This contract position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flex spending, life insurance, accident and short-term disability coverage, free continuing education, and a competitive housing deal.

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), previous experience working in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics, strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
