As an Aircraft Installer/Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling and installing structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and aircraft systems with precision and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
  • Install various parts and assemblies, including landing gear, aircraft control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays/ball mats, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats.
  • Install various aircraft system components, such as tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts.
  • Operate mechanical lifts of various types, including ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts.
  • Use various tools, such as rivet guns and bucking bars, screwdrivers, lock bolt pullers, power screwdrivers, C-squeeze, ratchet wrenches, nut runners, Winslow, 90-Degree Power Vane, and Quackenbush, and other hand tools.
  • Inspect work quality and check for FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
  • Use high-impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting).
  • Climb, balance, crawl, crouch, and work around energized sources and exposure to constant noise.
  • Read from computer screens, printed drawings, or documents.
  • Adhere to high standards of safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Carry and lift up to 10-35 pounds.
  • Perform flexion, extension, handling, kneeling, bending, reaching, rotation, standing, twisting, and walking.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
  • 7+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
  • 7+ years of aerospace systems experience with hydraulics, ICS, PECS, duct installation, IFE, interior decorative repair, waste, and potable water systems.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated strong effective communication, work ethic, and sense of urgency for completing assigned tasks.
