About This OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified/Board Eligible Stroke/Vascular Neurologist to join our team at the Seton Brain and Spine Institute in Austin, Texas. As a member of our neurohospitalist team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide medical services to patients.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position that includes daily rounds on patients, predominantly consult service, and may include limited outpatient stroke clinic presence. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of complex cases, and will have the opportunity to participate in academic programs, including medical education and research.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree and be credentialed by the Texas Medical Board. Additionally, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary Range: $400,000 - $700,000 per yearYour salary will depend on your level of experience, education, and qualifications.
