Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented K-Pak Machine Operator to join our team at JBS USA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our K-Pak machines, ensuring the highest quality products are produced while meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate K-Pak machines to package products efficiently and effectively
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on K-Pak machines to minimize downtime
  • Monitor and control product quality, ensuring accurate weights and packaging integrity
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Participate in daily meetings to discuss production progress and address any issues
  • Perform clip checks and seal checks to ensure product quality
  • Monitor product temperature and packaging conditions to ensure optimal results
  • Prepare and submit reports on production performance and downtime
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a cold and noisy environment, with potential hazards including sharp machinery. The physical demands of this position include lifting up to 80 lbs. of packaging film.
