Job Details
Christiana Care Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit in Newark, DE.

We are committed to delivering high-quality care to older patients facing acute illness. Our focus is on maintaining function, providing education, and ensuring safety. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will engage in a genuine relationship-based care model, building relationships with patients and families as well as with your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.

Our Nurses will assist in managing a team of 5 medical patients per shift and work with the interdisciplinary team that includes a unit-based Nurse Practitioner, an attending and consulted physician, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, and other assistive personnel.

Requirements
  • BSN required.
  • ADNs candidates are required to commit to obtaining BSN within three years of the date of hire and can be considered with relevant experience.
  • Qualified applicants will have at least one year of experience.
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with the older adults.
  • Gerontology Certification preferred.
  • BLS required.
