Position Overview:
Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is currently seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist for a travel assignment. This role involves providing exceptional imaging services while adhering to the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate MRI equipment and conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in line with departmental protocols.
2. Collaborate with medical professionals to perform specialized imaging tasks.
3. Ensure patient comfort and safety by positioning patients appropriately and maintaining a secure environment.
4. Gather necessary patient information for imaging procedures.
5. Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly.
Equipment Utilization:
Utilize advanced imaging technology including:
- 1.5 Tesla GE scanner
- 64 slice GE Optima CT
- Digital x-ray systems
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MRI operations; experience in CT and X-ray is preferred.
- Required certifications: ARRT, CPR, and a valid state license in Radiology.
Work Schedule:
No on-call duties; expected to work approximately every 4th or 5th weekend.
Dress Code:
Pewter or dark grey scrubs are required.
Training and Orientation:
Comprehensive orientation including Parkview New Hire Orientation and EPIC training.
Additional Information:
