Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lowboy Truck Driver to join our team at CRH Plc. as a Heavy Haul Equipment Operator. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and trailer to transport construction materials and equipment to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck and trailer to transport construction materials and equipment
  • Load and unload equipment or materials
  • Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and maintain accurate documentation
  • Monitor vehicle gauges and maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist in training less-experienced employees on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Perform general labor duties as needed
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a good driving record
  • 2 years of experience hauling asphalt equipment or heavy haul equipment
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsement a plus
  • Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Pass a pre-employment physical examination
  • Valid documentation for I-9 Immigration document
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
