Farm Crew Member

As a member of our farm crew, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our 17-acre organic farm. Located within Mass Audubon's Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, this unique setting offers a chance to work alongside experienced farmers while contributing to the preservation of natural habitats.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be comfortable with physical labor, and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Previous experience in agriculture or outdoor work is not required, but a positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

This seasonal position begins on August 30, 2024, and ends on November 1, 2024. You will work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7:00am-3:00pm. Compensation for this position is $16.25-18.28/hour, commensurate with experience.

• Maintain the health and productivity of crops through weeding, planting, and other agricultural tasks.
• Assist in coordinating tasks with other crew members and volunteers.
• Care for farm equipment, tools, and facilities.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
