Salary: $26-$34 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Canon City, CO. As an LPN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, providing individualized care and support in medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools.

You will work closely with physicians, RNs, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care, taking vital signs, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to your supervisor. You will also assist RNs in carrying out physician's orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments, administering medication, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Active LPN license in Colorado
  • CPR Certification
  • Covid-19 vaccination card
  • Proof of flu vaccination (optional)
  • Valid TB screening
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication skills, and compassion
