About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop personalized occupational therapy plans to promote optimal recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement creative interventions to address patients' unique challenges and goals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-care and independence.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
