About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to join our team at IAA, an RB Global Inc. Company. As a Yard Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, working closely with our team to prepare vehicles for auction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle check-in and preparation, including recording and filing information on vehicles assigned to the facility
  • Detailing vehicles to improve their appearance and enhance their value at auction, with training provided
  • Operating passenger vehicles in a safe manner, moving them around the facility and/or participating in drive-through auctions
  • Recovering keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles at the facility and storing them in the appropriate locations
  • Assisting visitors by providing guidance and directing them to the appropriate person for additional assistance
  • Training and developing skills in forklift and loader operation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions
  • Physical demands of the role include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 100 lbs. and working in a physically demanding environment
  • Upbeat demeanor and excellent communication skills required for interacting with customers and colleagues
