Key Responsibilities- Create and manage cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the facility are consistently tidy and well-maintained.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors, to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners to prevent odors and pests.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and furniture, to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a clear and unobstructed view.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor to ensure prompt attention.
- Assist with minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs or unclogging sinks, to maintain a safe and functional environment.
- Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are well-maintained, adequately stocked, and used efficiently.
- Promptly respond to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure continued operations and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inventory usage, and any maintenance issues to report on progress and challenges to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in communication and collaboration with other departments.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and evenings.
