Responsibilities

As an LPN/LVN, your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
  • Administering all medications as ordered by the physician
  • Making written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
  • Ensuring adequate supply of medications, supplies, and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents
  • Reporting needs to the nursing supervisor
  • Placing phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
  • Pulling and preparing patient charts; performing other general office duties as required
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 1 year experience required
  • Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
