Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and correct application of orthosis/prosthesis, use of adaptive devices, etc.
  • Dress patient wounds as delegated by the RN
  • Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed
  • Collect, record, and report data, including vitals, temperature, pulse, and respiration (TPR), blood pressure (BP), and blood sugar readings
  • Take wound photography and measurement
  • Track observed responses to treatment
  • Record care given as observed responses to treatment, including participation in wound care/Hyperbaric plan
  • Report unusual observations or changes in patient condition/behavior
  • Collect specimens as requested
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position
  • Six (6) or more months experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills and follow-up skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with others and in a team environment
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Work Environment:

Normal office environment

Primarily indoors environment

Patient care environment

Exposure to Hazards (blood-borne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable explosive gases, etc.)

Exposure to mechanical equipment

Proximity to moving objects

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $15.30-$19.38 Per Hour

This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
