Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Surgery Unit at Telemetry 4D. As a per diem nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients who are status post cardiac surgery, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on post-operative care and management of cardiac conditions.
  • Participate in relevant continuing education programs to maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
  • Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • COVID vaccine with 2 shots & booster.
