Position Overview
The Lead Facilities Operations Specialist is tasked with the development and management of all Planned Maintenance and Calibration initiatives. This role involves coordinating and streamlining the functions of the Facilities Department, ensuring that work orders are properly documented and executed, as well as overseeing parts inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating and communicating planned maintenance initiatives.
- Ensuring effective communication of maintenance schedules.
- Managing and tracking facilities procurement activities.
- Implementing and supporting new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and administrative tasks.
- Complying with Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Serving as the primary System Administrator for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborating with production scheduling and providing insights on work orders.
- Monitoring PM/CAL/CM Work Orders and ensuring their completion.
- Generating monthly reports on overdue work orders.
- Maintaining asset tracking within the Business Maintenance Resource Asset Management (BMRAM) system.
- Conducting meetings with maintenance personnel and tracking essential metrics.
- Assisting maintenance department staff and managing training documentation.
Education & Experience
- 7+ years of experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in facilities maintenance or operations.
- Experience in a GMP facility is preferred.
- Two years of experience in an FDA-regulated setting is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and planning abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced GMP environment.
- Self-driven and results-oriented.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Adept at multitasking or working independently.
- This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity awards.
- The hourly pay range is competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
