Childcare Kitchen Coordinator

The Goddard School of Friendswood, TX, a premier early childhood education institution, is actively seeking a Kitchen Coordinator/Transportation Operator. We are looking to fill this role promptly, with compensation based on the candidate's qualifications.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and clean driving record
• Experience in transportation is advantageous
• Must possess a food manager's certification valid in Texas
• Initial working hours are from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with slight variations based on operational needs
• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Ability to manage food budgets and inventory effectively
• Skill in menu preparation and portion calculation
• Prior experience in a kitchen setting is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely transporting children to and from the facility
• Preparing nutritious lunches and snacks in accordance with USDA guidelines
• Serving breakfast and lunch to all classrooms, along with morning and afternoon snacks
• Maintaining cleanliness by washing prep tables, sweeping, mopping floors, and organizing the kitchen
• Cleaning kitchen equipment and cutting boards
• Assisting in various tasks as directed by management.
