Job Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team for the Fall Harvest season. As a seasonal truck driver, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely pick up and delivery of goods to our customers in a safe and professional manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to and from customers, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods as needed, using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, date, and location.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in truck driving, preferably in the agricultural or supply chain industry.
  • Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work additional hours, including overnight stays and occasional weekends, to meet business demands.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift equipment.
  • Agriculture background or experience in the agricultural industry.
  • Customer service experience.
