We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Vice President of Development and Construction. This is a critical role that will play a key part in driving the growth and success of our Real Estate team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of permitting, procurement, and construction for new travel center developments and raze-and-rebuilds of existing portfolio sites.
- Oversee the management of third-party vendors, including general contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Develop and implement systematic controls and processes to facilitate pipeline growth and development program expansion.
- Play a key role in land acquisitions projects, including feasibility, environmental, and sitework analyses, budgeting, and entitlement planning.
- Collaborate with the legal department, Environmental Health and Safety, and other departments as needed to ensure seamless integration of Retail Operations design requirements and alternative energy deployments.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in construction, land development, and environmental field project management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects, meeting deadlines, and driving results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional licenses are preferred.
