General Summary

The Sales Associate will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience by assisting with the receiving, stocking, and pricing of merchandise. Additionally, they will help maintain a clean and orderly store environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Proactively assist customers in finding products and solving problems.
    • Ensure all customer interactions are positive and memorable.
  • Store Operations:
    • Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise throughout the store.
    • Help maintain back stock levels and ensure a clean and orderly sales floor.
    • Operate a forklift with proper training and follow all safety protocols.
    • Communicate any issues or concerns to management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the garden center and assembly.
