Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmaceutical Development Manager to join our team and lead our analytical chemistry group in developing innovative solutions for pharmaceutical clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding the development of junior team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and independently performing complex testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide the development of junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tools and systems that enhance our analytical capabilities.
  • Independently perform complex testing and analysis for new chemical entities and drug products.
  • Evaluate and optimize methods of analysis to ensure robustness and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and analytical testing procedures.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including 152 hours of PTO and 8 paid holidays.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or equivalent science degree with 9 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry.
  • BS or BA degree in a science-related field with 8 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry.
  • Master's degree in a science-related field with 6 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry.
  • PhD in a science-related field with 4 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
