Rusin & Maciorowski, Ltd. is a reputable and thriving legal practice specializing in insurance defense, situated in the heart of Chicago. We represent various corporate clients, municipalities, and insurance providers in matters related to Workers' Compensation, OSHA regulations, personal injury claims, third-party liability, and lien recovery.

We are currently looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Associate Attorney within our Workers' Compensation Department. While 1-5 years of relevant experience is preferred, we are open to training the right candidate who may not yet have this experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct litigation for workers' compensation cases at the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission.
  • Advocate for the interests of employers or insurers during hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Effectively communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Assist in the investigation of incidents and related issues.
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of employers.

Licensing Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Illinois license in good standing.
