AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab is seeking a Sports/Ortho Physical Therapist to join our team in Winter Garden, FL.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to provide professional direct and indirect services to patients in our outpatient rehabilitation settings. As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluating muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
Responsibilities- Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient's needs.
- Monitors patient's response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plan as appropriate.
- Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policies and procedures.
- Oversees the care provided by certified physical therapy assistants and therapy technicians, according to established regulations and practice standards.
- Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist, or Temporary State of Florida permit as Physical Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
