Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Transdev's Ewing, NJ facility.

About the Job

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing transit vehicle maintenance in compliance with company standards. This includes inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing all assigned transit vehicles and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform transit vehicle maintenance in compliance with company standards
  • Inspect, diagnose, service, and/or repair all assigned transit vehicles and mechanical equipment
  • Read and interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 21 years or older
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience with all types of heavy-duty transit equipment
  • Valid Commercial Driving License or eligible to obtain within 3 months of hire (Paid training offered)
  • ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training and testing)
  • Have appropriate mechanic's tool set
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test
