Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspection Coordination: Organize and schedule inspections throughout the construction process.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Verify that projects meet all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Quality Control: Evaluate the quality of workmanship and materials utilized in construction.
  • Safety Assessments: Identify and mitigate safety risks present on construction sites.
  • Effective Communication: Document findings and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Enforcement Measures: Implement necessary actions in cases of non-compliance.
  • Client Support: Offer guidance regarding building codes and regulations.
  • Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of industry best practices and developments.

  • Willingness to travel and operate in challenging environments.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications or specialized training in specific inspection areas.
  • Experience with construction management software and GIS technologies.
  • Understanding of sustainable building practices.
  • Bilingual skills in languages commonly spoken in the relevant jurisdictions.

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Extensive experience in construction or building inspection.

Certification(s):

Must possess certification as a Building Inspector or Construction Inspector.

Clearance:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Additional Qualifications:

Completion of relevant FEMA courses is advantageous.
