Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Counselor to join our team at Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals. As a Financial Counselor, you will play a critical role in reviewing patient financial information, collecting estimated patient liability amounts, and explaining financial responsibilities to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review patient financial information and identify potential payment options
  • Collect estimated patient liability amounts and communicate with patients and their families regarding financial responsibilities
  • Work closely with outside agencies to ensure patients' financial coverage
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow AIDET guidelines in all interactions with patients

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 year of related experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
