Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:


• Execute designated work routines utilizing various kitchen utensils, supplies, and equipment as instructed by the Dietary Manager.


• Provide support in the kitchen and dining areas for meal service.


• Adhere to scheduled meal times.


• Comply with Federal and State regulations pertaining to long-term care.


• Follow established cleaning protocols and perform assigned cleaning tasks.


• Assist in assembling trays, loading food carts, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.


• Wash and properly store dishes.


• Adhere to established reporting procedures for food and equipment temperatures and sanitation logs.


• Aid in the receiving and storage of food and supplies.


• Participate in in-service educational programs and departmental meetings.


• Observe all safety regulations while performing duties.


• Maintain knowledge of Federal, State, and Facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, particularly those related to hygiene and sanitation.


• Undertake additional departmental duties or assignments as directed by the dietary management team. Qualifications:

Experience in food service is preferred, particularly in a healthcare environment.
