Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Mary's Health Network, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment that prioritizes patient care and well-being.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services, requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct and indirect patient care services, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
  • Assists with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
  • IV certification upon hire.
