Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at our New York clinic. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, and performing high-quality scans. You'll also be involved in ordering supplies, cleaning equipment, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety and performing high-quality scans
  • Order supplies, clean equipment, and troubleshoot issues
  • Utilize ancillary tools and equipment, including PACS and software systems
  • Image post-processing, including transferring images to PACS and ensuring all post-processing steps are complete
  • Leadership and training, including patient safety, room preparation, and effective communication
Requirements
  • Strong base knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety
  • Licensed with the appropriate board, such as ARMRIT or ARRT (MR)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program
  • Clinical work experience of at least 2 years
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Patient care skills, including explaining complex medical terms and procedures
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations
