Job Summary

ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking a Process Specialist for a hybrid role (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) based in Manassas, VA. As a Process Specialist for our Customer Relations team, you'll lead improvement projects, update procedures, conduct data analytics, and support cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead projects to enhance processes and solve problems collaboratively, evaluating existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and root causes.
  • Update procedures to meet standards and train teams on changes, developing and delivering continuous improvement training programs.
  • Analyze data for performance, feedback, and project impact, performing cost/benefit analysis to prioritize process improvements and supporting cross-functional projects to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' experience or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience leading process improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Previous experience in procedure development and training delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Experience in conducting cost/benefit analysis.
  • Ability to interpret data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
