Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Shift Details: Night and Day shifts available, including weekend rotations with 12-hour shifts.
Compensation: Starting at $29.91 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus shift differentials up to $1.25.
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 offered.
ROLE SUMMARY: As a vital member of our nursing team, you will engage in case identification, health education, counseling, and the provision of supportive and restorative care in alignment with nursing care plans under the supervision of a registered nurse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the healthcare team in documenting and interpreting resident responses to their care plans, ensuring effective communication with staff, residents, and families.
- Guide and support allied nursing staff in the care provided to residents, and assist in the orientation of new team members.
- Contribute to the collection of data necessary for completing the Patient Assessment Instrument (MDS+) and the Resident Assessment Protocol Summary.
- Collaborate with nursing management to identify and resolve issues, promoting continuous improvement within the units.
- Uphold safety standards throughout the facility, participating in mandatory education programs and annual training.
- Conduct all duties with integrity and ethical standards, reporting any potentially fraudulent activities to management.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED required. Must be a graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing program accredited by the Commissioner of Education.
CERTIFICATIONS: Must hold a valid and current practical nursing license in New York State.
