POSITION TITLE: Logistics Operations Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with management to fulfill supply requirements, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks: Verify shipments for accuracy and completeness, and unpack items as needed.
  • Provide inventory information regarding stock levels, locations, quantities, and movement upon request.
  • Record, count, and organize items, including full and cycle counts.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and systems for all non-production inventory transactions.
  • Work directly with management to keep the facility organized and efficient.
  • Prepare and pack orders for distribution.
  • Oversee quality assurance during order picking.
  • Process returns and manage wasted products.
  • Participate in internal and external inventory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and labeling requirements.
  • Adhere to all state regulations and guidelines.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful environment with team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management and logistics.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage high-pressure situations.
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks with precision.
  • Self-motivated with efficient time management skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds as required.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, bend, or walk for extended periods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
  • Valid employment documentation, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
  • Potential exposure to various environmental factors depending on the work location.

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
