About the Opportunity

River City Lawnscape Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Greenhouse Operations Director to lead our Greenhouse Team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing greenhouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional plant quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Greenhouse Team to achieve operational efficiency, productivity, and plant quality goals
  • Develop and implement greenhouse management strategies, including crop planning, propagation, and pruning
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure accurate plant ordering, receiving, and stocking
  • Train and supervise greenhouse staff on plant care, handling, and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in greenhouse operations or a related field
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team motivation and development
  • Familiarity with greenhouse management software and Point of Sale systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
