About the Role:

The MRI Technologist is a vital member of our diagnostic imaging team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. This role requires a skilled professional to operate MRI equipment, perform imaging procedures, and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform imaging procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide direct patient care and instructions before, during, and after procedures.
  • Contribute to the training and education of new staff and assist in oversight of MRI students.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging procedures.

Requirements:

  • Certification and Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Diagnostic Radiology with Advanced MRI Registry (MR).
  • Associate's degree from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited institute.
  • 1 year of experience in MRI department in hospital setting.
