Sourcing Specialist

Bloem Living is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our Supply Chain Team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, components, and finished goods necessary for our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring timely receipt of goods and maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and inventory transactions.
• Work closely with the production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and collaborate with the Demand Planner to ensure all BOMs are up to date and materials are on order in advance.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the procurement department and update supply chain metrics weekly, ensuring accurate invoicing and payment processing.
• Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing and work closely with the sales and marketing teams on new product development projects.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Infor Syteline/WMS.
• Ability to rapidly shift and adapt to different tasks, with a combination of practical and intellectual skills.
