At StandardAero, we're dedicated to excellence in MRO services and customized solutions. As an Airframe Quality Inspector, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the airworthiness of customer aircraft, adhering to FAA regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems, parts, and components to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Determine the serviceability of aircraft systems, parts, and components using precision measuring guides and non-destructive testing.
  • Accomplish preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections of all articles repaired, maintained, inspected, or altered by the facility.
  • Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs), and Local Work Instructions.
  • Provide procedural guidance to technicians and delegated inspectors, training and assisting them in proper work procedures and practices.
  • Monitor work in progress to ensure proper paperwork, procedures, techniques, and methods are used.
  • Document inspection results in inspection paperwork and log books, ensuring accurate reflection of work performed.
  • Research logbooks, prepare logbook entries, and sign-offs for approval for Return to Service (RTS), and RTS any article maintained or altered by the facility.
  • Approve aircraft for return to service upon completion of maintenance and/or alteration, reporting conditions adversely affecting airworthiness to the Quality Leader.

Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the .
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience as A&P Mechanic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Honeywell TFE731 / CFE738 experience.
  • NDT certification / knowledge.
  • Fluent/Bilingual in Spanish.
