We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (Full Time/Inpatient) to join our Therapy Services Team at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Located in northwest Arizona, our facility offers a mild climate with stunning Arizona sunsets and a great community to live, work, and play.

Position Purpose

All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI's vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify interventions as necessary.
  • Document the course of patient care, including progress made toward goals.
  • Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals.
  • Assist with orientation of new staff as requested.
  • Meet KHI's requirements for skills competency and safety.
  • Participate in continuing education/professional development activities.
  • Assist with the Occupational Therapy Assistant student program.
  • Participate in staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities.
  • Complete billing by the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and meeting reasonable and necessary requirements.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree through an OTA program.
  • Current OTA licensure through the Arizona State Board.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is necessary. Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is desirable.
