YOUR ROLE

In this position, you will oversee the preparation and packaging of hazardous materials for distribution. Your work schedule will typically consist of Friday from 4:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with a competitive pay rate of $27.00 per hour, paid weekly.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee a significant volume of hazardous materials shipments
  • Guarantee the safe and compliant storage, handling, and transportation of dangerous goods and other regulated items, including proper separation, palletizing, loading, and storage
  • Ensure all shipments/packages are accurately labeled and accompanied by the necessary documentation
  • Engage professionally, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and external clients at all levels
  • Address challenges, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Read packaging or documentation that may contain very small print
  • Be available for overtime and weekend work as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience with hazardous materials
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
  • HAZMAT certification is required
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds above shoulder height
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
