Immunology Research Scientist

Gable Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Immunologist to join our client's team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of the scientific group, you will play a crucial role in supporting target validation efforts in the oncology space.
Key Responsibilities- Target Validation: Profile and validate novel druggable immunotherapy targets to contribute to pipeline design and development.
- Experimental Design and Execution: Design and conduct Flow Cytometry, ELISAs, Westerns, Cell Culture, scRNAseq, and other techniques on both human and murine samples.
- Mechanistic Insights: Develop mechanistic insights related to the biological impact of novel targets.
- Scientific Collaboration: Integrate developments in the field with expertise to contribute to pipeline design and development, and offer scientific insights to project teams.
- Mentorship: Mentor others in research techniques and contribute to the growth and development of the scientific team.
- Expertise in Immunology: Immunology expertise including experience with T-cell, NK-cell, B-cell, and myeloid.
- Molecular and Cellular Methods: A broad array of molecular, cellular, and immunology methods including multi-plex flow cytometry.
- Experimental Design and Execution: New experimental design proposals as well as planning and conducting lab experiments, and evaluating and interpreting data.
- Oncology Experience: Experience in the oncology space.
- Advanced Degree: MS/PhD degree and immunology expertise.
- Publication Record: Demonstrated record of success with a strong publication record.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and present results clearly and concisely.
