Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Fiber Technician to join our team at Trigyn Technologies Inc. as a long-term contract opportunity in Baltimore, MD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, enter, and manipulate data in various GIS systems, including ArcOnline, ArcGIS Desktop, 3-GIS WEB, 3-GIS WEBJS, and 3-GIS Mobile.
  • Utilize survey reports, maps, drawings, plats, aerial photography, and other geographic data to design FTTx projects.
  • Communicate lessons learned to the Engineering Manager and project team.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of assignments, and maintain schedule adherence.
  • Submit accurate timesheets for payroll processing.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and ability to work with others in the office.
  • Provide other related support as requested.
  • Enter data quickly, correctly, and efficiently.
  • Convert data from older sources into digital formats.
  • Perform installation, replacement, and removal of fiber optic patch cables.
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and cleaning of fiber optic cables and terminations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work onsite and travel to various sites within the Baltimore area.
  • Reliability and dependability to complete assignments accurately and on time.
  • Ability to take direction and work closely with the team to identify and communicate challenges and recommended process improvements.
