At Mindfully Active Counseling and Art Therapy, we're seeking a dedicated Counselor, Social Worker, or Art Therapist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy for children and adolescents using your specialized therapeutic approach.
  • Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to each child's needs, fostering emotional growth and resilience.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and client evaluations.
  • Maintain scheduling, consistency, follow-ups, setting boundaries, etc. as an out of network provider.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to your niche specialty.
  • Travel to both office locations.
  • Market yourself within the community.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Art Therapy, or a related field.
  • License to practice in the state of New Jersey (LAC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, or ATR/LPAT preferred).
  • Specialized training or certification in a niche area (creative or otherwise).
  • Strong experience working with young children, preteens and teens.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a compassionate approach.
  • Trauma-informed care experience is a plus.
