MRI Imaging Specialist

As a key member of the University of California's medical team, the MRI Technologist plays a vital role in performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform MRI procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Operate post-processing workstations to enhance image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
- Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed
- Sensitively handle patient needs and provide excellent care
- ARRT or ARMRIT (MR) certification
- MR certificate required
- Venipuncture certificate required
- BCLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program
- AA or BS degree preferred
- At least 1 year of MRI experience preferred
- Siemens experience preferred

Familiarity with clinical billing and knowledge of human anatomy and pathology are also essential.
