Pharmacy and Laboratory Assistant Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy and Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Pharmacy and Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy and laboratory area, preparing samples and requisition forms, and conducting in-house diagnostic tests.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy and laboratory area
- Prepare samples and requisition forms for outside diagnostic laboratories
- Conduct in-house diagnostic tests, including automatic analyzers and manual blood and urine analysis
- Assist with inventory management and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with human or veterinary medicine preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
